Especially the abilities where rank 1 costs 2 points, then ranks 2-4 are 1 point each but only give about a 3-5% increase in damage making the entire ability path not worth investing in. Most of the cooldown abilities (especially for mages) need a damage boost. I'm not sure why ability balancing isn't in there though.
